I have a lot of childhood trauma and art is my way of expressing emotion. My life has been a bit difficult so art is my savior.

I absolutely love to paint, I feel like it’s a free art form where you can do anything that comes to your mind. I have been painting since I was younger. All styles. I’d say I’m more abstract than anything. It’s just a great way to get my feelings out of my head.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration, mostly from my own feelings and thoughts however, I have always loved artist like Picasso. Someone that can express what they are going through mentally onto a canvas. I also have a lot of friends here locally that do art, so I’m constantly going to shows.
What would you do with $25,000?If I were to win $25,000, not only would it better the lives of me and my children, I would also give back to the community. I would use the money to help children in this area also expressed their art form. I’m a single mother working on my masters degree so I don’t always have availability to do things like that. However, with the money I would be able to. Ultimately, I would use those earnings to help others as well.
