Color vibrates like energy, shapes live and breathe, and intuition captures emergence—turning canvas into moments of pure visual awareness.

I’m most drawn to creating work that develops without a predetermined outcome. I begin with a mark or color and respond to what unfolds, allowing the piece to emerge rather than be constructed. The process is intuitive, guided by attention and a sense of when the work has reached a point where nothing more is needed.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration tends to come from paying close attention to what’s in front of me as the work begins. A simple mark or color is enough to start, and from there the process reveals its own direction. I’m drawn to that space where something begins to take shape without being fully defined, and meaning emerges through sustained attention.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to create the space and time to continue developing the work without interruption. That kind of freedom allows for a deeper level of attention, where the process can unfold more fully. It would support a more sustained and thoughtful exploration of the direction I’m already committed to.
