Creating art is a personal journey to places beyond everyday life, most of these images have never been shared before.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite subjects are the figure and figurative landscapes. In the third grade, I was taught by my father how to develop and print black-and-white film. I also started to draw and paint at the same time. I was fortunate enough to have a master drawing teacher at a private high school, BFA Tyler school, MFA RISD. Now I create art from my heart to share with the world.
Where do you find inspiration?Oh my , everywhere I look , figures, landscapes, flowers, and music! A current series I’m working on is inspired by the time I lived in the south Pacific, playing in tidal pools at low tide, and watching amazing sunsets as the sun was sinking into the sea.
What would you do with $25,000?I spend all my time being an artist, I would use the $25,000 to donate some to St. Jude’s, help out those less fortunate and to travel some to photograph places I’ve never been, to make imaginative images that inspire people and show the beauty that we live in.
