Film and Abstract Painting. I explore filmmaking as a way of communicating the biggest picture and to encourage dialog about our shared humanity. My goal is to broadly introduce an overview effect that redefines our place in the world by reimagining our collective possibilities. Abstract painting is one of the most pure art forms in my opinion. There is freedom to express such a broad range of sensibilities and approaches. It is a beautiful wordless realm that can express what can't be spoken.
Where do you find inspiration?All of Nature, Philosophy, Science, Art, Music, Film, A view of the Earth from outer space, a quiet mind, humans helping each other. These are a few things that inspire me. Also, the understanding that we are not separate form each other or the universe. We are literally the universe perceiving itself.
What would you do with $25,000?Part of the funds would go towards completion of my Real Fictions prototype pilot. The pilot is 90% complete we need to finish the final edit. To learn more about Real Fictions go here: realfictions.io. The funds would also be used to complete the production of my new abstract painting series called the Artifact Series. I would also love to donate some of my large and small paintings for placement anywhere The Art of Elysium deems appropriate.
