I like all art. Some I admire a bit more, like something that I have never seen before. Life is art. Art is all around you, just take a moment to appreciate the beauty of it all.
Where do you find inspiration?I was born color blind, so it’s shapes, dimensions and colors for me. I like to create with a purpose, whether it’s broken and reassembled liquor bottles to commemorate the 100th anniversary of prohibition, or creating my version of Wacky Packages, “Kay-O Cards. Like “Legendary Jacks”, Jackie Robinson on a Hungry Jack pancake box. Next spring will commemorate the 80th anniversary of his debut in MLB, breaking the color barrier for the first time. Art allows me to express me.
What would you do with $25,000?50/50 split. $25,000 will be donated to the Sanctum house, a shelter for battered women in metro Detroit and the rest to my kids educations!
