My favorite type of art to create is Pyrography. I remember taking wood shop in middle school and something about working with wood I just loved. As an adult I discovered wood burning via Pinterest and thought I would try it out. Maybe make some Christmas gifts or something. I immediately fell in love with it. Making drawings with a hot pen on wood. Turning nature into hand burned pieces of art. While I love playing around with other types of art, Pyrography instantly became my passion.

As a Pyrography artist I am very inspired by nature, animals, and flowers. I do create more than just that but those are my favorite as they have so many details and textures to them! I really love a challenge and I like to create wood burnings that really push my skill level and help me to become a better artist with each piece.

I would use it toward a new home. This is something my husband and I have been working on recently and this would help so much with our goals as a family. We have 3 children and a 3 bedroom home. Our oldest 2 share a small bedroom and they are quickly getting too big to share it. Currently my kitchen counter is my art studio as well. It would be so wonderful to have a little extra space for my kids to have some me time, and for me to create art.
