My recent works are guttural explosions of how the chaos of our world feels inside of me - a necessary release - my “now” story.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!

Receive Text UpdatesMultimedia Pareidolia: I see surprising images in man-made objects and naturally occurring patterns and then photograph them. Then with found items, acrylic paint and ink pens, I create my art on top of these “pareidolia” photos. For instance, a photo of a crack in the sidewalk becomes an aerial view of a riverfront beach (see attached art). It is an organic process … freeing … safe … during which time stands still.
Where do you find inspiration?I’m a visual storyteller … telling stories of what I see and feel. I’m a curious observer of our human condition … my heart is tugged by hopeless empathy. Fascinated by perspective and contrast, my eyes are drawn to simplicity of design. A lifelong student with a wicked case of ADHD, I love to learn about our world and with great intensity, tell its story with my art.
What would you do with $25,000?Well, my dream is to create a retreat where inspiring women share their lives, their talents - their stories. My reality is that first I’d need to pay off credit card debt. Being a non traditional fine artist requires a multitude of funding sources and revenue streams.
