I like using mixed media in my jewelry pieces. Including but not limited to: Sweetgrass (one of our sacred medicines), Birch bark that I harvest myself, seed beads, brain tanned moose hide, natural gemstones, shells, and porcupine quills.
Where do you find inspiration?My fellow Native American artists inspire me to create.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to grow my art business, invest in quality materials and a creative workspace, and expand the reach of my culturally inspired beadwork and handmade designs. As a mother and artist, this opportunity would help me build a meaningful future for my family while inspiring others through art rooted in nature, spirituality, healing, and tradition.
