Life with Multiple Sclerosis wouldn’t be worth living if not for art. It liberates me from myself. Supertramp is a whole other personality.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Batik silk painting. It’s the only medium that causes me to salivate while working. Also Acrylic finger painting.
Where do you find inspiration?I unlocked inspiration in a house high above Boulder Co. within a year I was diagnosed with MS, tried to commit suicide, lost my girlfriend, my home and all its belongings were swept away in a flash flood, then can’t work anymore. That led me to a mansion overlooking Boulder. One day a shaman showed up with DMT and asked if I wanted to partake. I did and it changed my entire being. From then on I never stopped making art. I learned Batik along the way. DMT is my core source of inspiration.
What would you do with $25,000?Put a stereo in my wife’s car. It rides so much better when there’s music. I’d rebuild my silk studio. Pay what needs to be paid and fix what needs to be fixed. Money comes and goes. This will help perpetuate my art.
