I'm get most inspired by Pop Art, turning ordinary objects into striking visual statements filled with color, energy, and individuality. My medium is oil on a large canvas. My paintings are often even more impactful due to their size and vivid colors. My paintings can vary in size and I also experiment in illustrations. But the work of stretching a large canvas and allowing my vision to fill the canvas is the most rewarding to me.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in discarded objects, giving new life to overlooked materials through bold and creative Pop Art. These discarded objects can vibrate on the same frequency as experiences in my life. They bring emotion and memories up for me and the people who view them.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in my art—securing studio space to produce new work, buy more oil paint (which is getting ever more expensive), and experiment in larger paintings. I am also interested in organizing exhibitions to grow my audience.
