I hate seeing old vintage music mediums go to waste so I transform them so they won't be forgotten. It's me homage to what SAVED ME
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
All of it! I refurbish junk tables i find on the side of the road. I take records from the thrift store that don't play anymore and melt them into flowers and Skullish Masks and I love to print out gigantic coloring pages thag i alter on Canva and zone out using coloring pencils and dirt n spilled alcohol!!! I love finding old vintage comics n just about any Pinterest orpjdct I can recreate but with my own twist.
Where do you find inspiration?Everywhere j use what's going on mostly in my mind tho. I'm a recovering addict and suffef from sever psychosis similar to schizophrenia and just try to mirror my thoughts into art. I see things that aren't there, well they aren't there to the people around me but they are there plainly to me and I feared them for so long but now I turn that horror I felt inside for so long out onto whatever medium im working with.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to put a down pmt on a travel van and hit the road saving lost souls like me, just collect stories from others out there going thru what im going thru, that we all struggle with. I want to travel n spread the word that your personal demons are not your set back to the life u want you can create anything from them and stick them on a wall n laugh at them for making you feel bad, like a free mini mobile art therapy van traveling the country. Just connect with people
