My art is an expression of the love I have for nature through wood. I love the way it smells - feels - looks.

I create art that is utilitarian, something that can be sat on if front of a roaring fire, something that can be slept in, dined at or that will feed and house a small creature. Beds especially because your bed should be a sanctuary, it should be massive and cradle you while you shake off the day and fade into Dreamtime.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration jumps out at me from the grain of a wood slab or a hollowed out fallen tree. An old barn that is falling down or an unloved table at a yard sale. It speaks to me until we decide what it should be.
What would you do with $25,000?I would create a proper studio and outfit it with the tools I need to be able to create in a way that is more cohesive and not so challenging, riddled with limitations. I would be able to afford wood that has been kilned and more stable and tools that would help me move larger media around. This would afford me a new clientele and further my craft.
