I love creating art that is meaningful to people. That takes them back to a moment in their life that they want to hold on to.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love creating hyper-realistic acrylic paintings that capture legendary athletes at their most iconic, career-defining moments. The kind of scenes that are forever burned into sports memory. My work focuses on bringing those peak moments to life, honoring both the athlete’s humanity and the weight of the moment through realistic detail, dynamic composition, and vivid color.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration for my pieces by physically going to live games, where I can feel the raw, electric energy of being there in the crowd. I also love to watch documentaries, where you see the full arc of an athlete’s story and the weight behind those defining moments.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use this money to launch my art career full-time. I currently have a full-time job in sales, and I paint on the weekends when I can. But it’s always been my dream to go off on my own and make this a reality. Where I’ve always gotten stuck is the money, it really takes a lot to get going, and this would really help me get on my feet and have access to the resources I need.
