What I create is traditional mixed media on stretched canvas along with digital on procreate, I always want to spread mental health awareness and confidence in inspiring others to create. I love catching the peoples eye and showing them my perspective on this life and this journey we are all on. humankind is connected by art and some struggles are shared even if people are from a completely different walk of life. My art craves connection and that is my favorite type of art to create.

I find inspiration within my mental health recovery and my children inspire me daily. I have 3 daughters 2 of which are already artists themselves, I often have my 2 year old help me start with the beginning of a painting, making me step out of my comfort zone and really see the shapes and forms that appear to me. It's a blessing to be able to be inspired by the beauty in everything I see and everything I feel so deeply and having the ability to capture it on a canvas and bring it to life.

Winning the $25,000 would allow me to move my children out of our apartment and finally get us a house of our own, and my daughter's will get new clothes and beds. I will also help my father finish the house he's building for my grandmother. I also plan to purchase food for the local homeless community, and then I will purchase the digital programs, printers, and merchandise I need to launch my art business. I want to spread this positive message in my soul through my art.
