Creating is my way of nurturing life's quiet details. It's my language when I struggle to reach myself through words.

Painting is my personal way to express myself, but I truly connect with the act of creating- whatever it may be. I think it's one of the most 'human' qualities we carry. I'm drawn to mixed media; my paintings are fragments of different elements and I feel mixed media portrays that the best. Getting to explore different materials, mediums, textures and making them a part of self expression is so beautiful to me. I also carry a passion for film and hope to pursue set building and design.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from the world I'm surrounded by itself—whatever my eyes choose to observe. I find beauty in the unnoticed details: in nature, minute architectural fragments, textures, colors, emotions, body language. I naturally observe people- it’s where my curiosity to understand stems from. I’m fascinated by how we’re all same at our core, and yet different, shaped by our own qualities and experiences. To keep it simple, it's details of existence that inspire me.
What would you do with $25,000?This is an interesting question to answer. I could name so many things that money would help me with but if I speak from my heart, I want to grow; as an artist, as a student, as a person. Getting the opportunity to take a bet on myself and truly explore my artistic language would be more than anything I could ask for. I hope whatever comes my way, it's that growth life takes me towards.
