I love how art is universal you don't need words to understand it or how it makes people feel. We can see the world though a different lens.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love to create pen and ink illustrations. I am a graphic artist by profession; I design logos, signage, and vehicle graphics. However, I enjoy painting in oils and acrylics, using Prisma pencils, charcoal pastels, and markers. I also love to design and fabricate costumes from many types of fabrics, plastics, metals, and or any recycled materials. My subject matter is exploratory, so whatever I feel inspired to draw or paint I do. I love the challenge of new techniques and mediums.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration come from people I meet, my kids and my husband give me ideas to create art in many different ways. I find inspiration from books I've read, magazines, comics, video games, and movies. I love the human form and its incredible diversity. I am inspired by other Artist who post their amazing works of art and use digital platforms to display their works. It challenges me to be creative and imaginative.
What would you do with $25,000?I would like to be recognized for my artwork and known for helping others. I would invest in a space and open a people's gallery where unknown artist can showcase, promote, and possibly sell their works. With this gallery, I can foster the connection between art and exploration to break down fearful barriers to promote a creative space for others to flourish in art.
