I have been creating art for the over over 20 years. I am an illustrator, painter and sculptor.and have been creative al of my life.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Lately I have been creating works that include acrylic paint, colour pencil, markers and paint pen. I developed my style during covid. I have always created portraits but paint alone didn't get me where I wanted. Including coloured pencils and markers on canvas has helped me to blend skin tone and create details that are more difficult to create with paint. I find I am incorporating these mediums more consistently in my latter pieces of work.
Where do you find inspiration?Nature, family and others' works, like established/hostorical artists as well as other artists I see online.
What would you do with $25,000?I would add to my studio a larger range of mediums. There are so many more that I want to play with. I also would set up a home gallery to formally show my work. In this gallery I would include art from other local artists who wouldn't have an opportunity to show their works at more established galleries. I helped run a small gallery for over 6 years and how to make it a success. I will always be creating art, as it is something that nourishes my soul.
