Painting to me is like poetry in color. It allows me to express thoughts, recreate memories, and share them with the world.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Watercolor paintings on canvas, and occasional woodburning with watercolor paints are my favorite types of creative expression.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in life's moments. I picked up my first paintbrush within a few months of recieving custody of 3 grandchildren at the time in life I should have been retiring. Instead of retiring I had to pick up a second job as I am a single grandparent and had no one else to help. I picked up that paintbrush to find expression and escape from stress Within that escape, I found a passion. My paintings each have a story, and/ or emotion. I am excited to share some of my art with you!
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it for a new roof on my home 😀
