I love the little waterfall next to my house and the squirrel who saw me and wanted his picture taken.

Writing is my passion. I write poems when I see something that Inspires me or writing different stories of things around me or maybe something a young teen wants, a voice they don’t have.
Where do you find inspiration?I don’t wait for perfect moments. I listen for them. Sometimes it’s the quiet after a long day, when the world finally softens and my thoughts rise to the surface. Sometimes it’s the sound of rain tapping against the window, or the way a river moves without asking permission—steady, certain, alive. That’s when my fingers start to move, chasing something I can feel but not always explain how I feel.
What would you do with $25,000?Writing a poetry book, for me, isn’t about trying to sound like anyone else—it’s about finally letting my own voice be heard. I’ve always written when something inside me needed a place to go. Sometimes it’s a feeling I can’t explain, sometimes it’s a moment I don’t want to forget, and sometimes it’s something I wish I could say out loud but don’t know how. Poetry becomes that space for me, where everything can exist exactly as it is—messy, honest, and real.
