I create art because sometimes words just aren’t enough. I find it’s easier to let an emotion flow through me and onto paper
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favourite art to make is abstract. I like it because not everyone interprets it the exact same, it might make some people happy and others uncomfortable. Art should make people feel things even if it is a cluster of lines, shapes and colours
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration through everyday life. Sometimes I even find I create better when I’m sad. I’ve never been very good with words and I hate keeping things inside so having a blank piece of paper and telling myself ‘you can’t go wrong’ has lead to some pretty expressive pieces
What would you do with $25,000?I would easily go do a surprise visit on my best friend who is currently living in Australia! We’ve both been going through it and I’ve been trying to save up to see her but that’s definitely a lot easier said than done!
