I am a visual artist, I enjoy the process and the learning that happens; when working with the different media's. I am currently working on a project with 75 acrylic paintings. I have a BFA with a emphasis on metal/fiber. I have worked as a jeweler, made costumes and props for theatrical performance. I have sold mosaics and the list goes on. I find one art form leads to the next.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration all around me. In the everyday events. I get inspiration from being around others, family, friends and the community. Nature can be very inspirational. Esoteric and historical information excites my imagination. I enjoy the time with self as I create. There is a peace I feel when I have completed a project. Completing something always get me in the mood to start something new.
What would you do with $25,000?The current project I am working on is of the Tarot cards. This is a total of 75 paintings. Each painting is acrylic on 16x20 canvas. I want to take the paintings and create a nice Tarot Deck with a book to market. I could use money for this project. I would also use the money to find a space to rent so I could open more art to the public.
