I love doing portraits. I try to capture the soul in the eyes and in the expressions of the face. I want to create something that makes you feel. My medium is water colors or pastels and charcoal pencil.
Where do you find inspiration?I see art in everything. Its everywhere. My inspiration is being in the present moment and capturing that essence in time. When I do create i loose all sence of time. It feels like my innate nature to create. To me its like a form of meditation that I need to have to be whole.
What would you do with $25,000?I would like to fund a project im current working on which is creating art on furniture and to start a small business, see where it leads me in my endeavors. My heart is full when I finish and complete a portrait on commission. I feel honored that someone will proudly display this portrait in their home. I feel blessed. A couple times a year I will do a portrait for someone without charge. Someone who would appreciate my work but couldn't afford it. It comes back 3 folds.
