I aspire to evolve my own creativity and work to inspire others to seek their own creative outlets. Art is in everything around us.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love creating all kinds of art. I do drawings of friends and family and people that have inspired me. I do mixed-media sculptures utilizing items I find on the ground or the beach (micro-plastics, glass or random bits of metal) to do figures, mosaics and fantasy creatures. I have done lots of photography primarily in black and white. Recently I have been doing a lot of graphic-design. I do not like limiting my creativity always keeping in mind to not spread myself too thin.
Where do you find inspiration?I visit art galleries the most and museums when I have a chance. Most often I find my inspiration in the world around me or in philosophical conversations. My head fills with ideas and imagery I would like to bring to life.
What would you do with $25,000?I would get some much needed work done on my home to make it a safer place to work and create. My Wife and I are able to get the bills paid, but find that there are always going to be obstacles that we regrettably have to pick and choose what takes priority to save for and take care of first. It would be an awesome contribution to feel I have more time to create art instead of the next home repair project.
