I love to create art because it is like therapy to me. The noise is so loud in our world and when I paint it makes all the noise stop. Xoxox

My favorite type of art to create is portraits although I do love animals and landscapes as well. I love painting the human face most I suppose. I love to see the face come to life. I rarely ever paint the colors in the portrait I'm painting. I try to use other colors that compliment the person. I see different shapes on the face and like putting different colors together to see if I can still make the painting beautiful. I will change the colors 10 or more times if need be. No rhyme or reason;)
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from within. I have been drawing since I was probably 2-3 and just always remember wanting to. It's a feeling that just comes from deep in my soul, and is constantly tickling the back of my mind that I should be doing it. I look at great artwork and think I could do that if I tried hard enough and become inspired to make my own pieces. The people who see my work inspire me as well. Them asking me how I do it makes me smile because I don't know how. It just happens.
What would you do with $25,000?Honestly, I don't know. There are many things I could spend the money on. Pay for my kids schooling? Pay off my mom's house? Buy my grandma a headstone? Buy a new vehicle? A new roof? New windows? A family vacation? There are so many ways I could spend this money and not one is the wrong answer so I guess it could be any of the above. But my mom is retired, and was diagnosed with cancer, and I'd love for her not have to worry about money.
