Each piece I create carries a heartbeat—rhythm in color—speaking to the soul, offering stillness, connection, and emotional release.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to create is abstract art. It allows me to translate emotion into color, rhythm, and movement. My work is rooted in the balance between energy and stillness—each piece expressing what can’t always be put into words. I’m especially drawn to large-scale canvases because they create immersive experiences, not just visuals. My art is meant to be felt—whether grounding a fast-paced environment like a hospital or bringing calm and presence into a personal space.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration finds me in real, human moments—especially in the spaces where emotion runs high. As a healthcare professional, I witness resilience, vulnerability, urgency, and healing every day, and those experiences deeply shape my work. I’m also inspired by rhythm—music, heartbeats, movement—and the idea that energy is always flowing, even when we can’t see it. My art becomes a visual language for that unseen pulse, turning lived experiences into something tangible and restorative.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would expand Pulse to Palette—my art business—into community spaces where art supports healing beyond the physical. I would create environments that feel calming, human, and restorative. I would also fund youth programs, mentorship, and scholarships, and host an art expo giving young artists a platform to be seen, grow, and connect through creativity
