I’m inspired by every form of art. I began drawing at a young age, and that passion has continued to evolve over time. I’m especially drawn to mixed media, exploring everything from drawing and painting to ceramics, jewelry making, and dance. Art allows me to express what words cannot. Portraiture, in particular, is close to my heart—being able to capture the essence of someone’s soul is incredibly meaningful to me.
Where do you find inspiration?The people around me inspire me most. I feel it when I’m with loved ones, spending time outside in nature. Whether I’m at the beach, on a hike, or simply sitting outside, I see art everywhere.
What would you do with $25,000?I’ve recently begun working as an art teacher here on Oʻahu, sharing the joy of creating with others. My paint-and-sip classes are fun, relaxing, and can be whatever you want them to be. If given this opportunity, I would continue to grow my art programs and nurture the vibrant creativity within my community.
