I love creating art because it allows me to express emotions, experiences, and ideas in a way that words sometimes cannot.

“My favorite type of art to create is surrealism because I love combining imagination with emotions and symbolic elements. I also enjoy painting about the indigenous communities of my country to give them visibility and share their culture, traditions, and identity through art.”
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in nature, especially in its colors, textures, and connection with emotions. I am also deeply inspired by Costa Rican indigenous art and the cultural legacy that has been passed down through generations. Their symbols, traditions, and relationship with nature influence many of my ideas and artistic creations.”
What would you do with $25,000?"With $25,000, I would love to create art therapy opportunities for older adults and people living with illnesses such as Multiple Sclerosis, just as art has helped me through my own health journey. Through creativity, I have found a way to express emotions, stay hopeful, and cope with difficult moments. I would like to give others the same opportunity by providing safe creative spaces, art materials, and emotional support through art.”
