I love creating expressionist paintings. Instead of starting with a rigid plan, I let my art be guided by my current state of mind. This type of art is my favorite because it’s honest; it’s a direct reflection of human experience and a way to channel life’s obstacles and celebrations visually.
Where do you find inspiration?Growing up, I was taught to embrace every genre of music and truly appreciate the "art of sound." Music has been the primary architect of my life; it provides the emotional blueprint for everything I create. Whether I’m navigating personal struggles or celebrating moments of joy and love, I let the rhythm and melody guide my brush. For me, painting is how I translate the invisible impact of music into something the world can see.
What would you do with $25,000?With a $25,000 investment, my goal is to transition from an emerging artist to a professional one by producing my first independently curated solo exhibition. At 18, this reward wouldn't just buy me supplies; it would allow me to build a professional platform and prove that my art, and my career, has the momentum to grow into the fine art market. With the money earned, I plan to both invest in my own future, but also donate and raise money for a non-profit that I feel a strong connection to.
