I create out of necessity. Art is how I move through emotion and make sense of what I feel when words are not enough.

I create intuitive, emotionally driven art that flows naturally rather than following a fixed plan. My work is abstract, colorful, and expressive, using movement and form to capture feeling. Inspired by culture, history, and both personal and global experiences, I blend inner emotion with shared human stories. Each piece invites open interpretation, encouraging viewers to connect in their own way.
Where do you find inspiration?I draw inspiration from a wide range of sources, including emotion, lived experience, culture, and history. My work is also influenced by artistic movements such as Neo-Expressionism and Impressionism, both of which resonate deeply with my approach to color, movement, and feeling. I am drawn to the raw, expressive energy of Neo-Expressionism and the way Impressionism captures fleeting moments and atmosphere. These styles inspire me to create work that feels immediate, intuitive, and alive.
What would you do with $25,000?If awarded $25,000, I would invest in strengthening my artistic practice through dedicated studio space, better materials, and the time to create without financial pressure. I would expand my reach through exhibitions and sharing my work with a wider community. I would also develop more ambitious work, exploring sculpture, mobiles, and ceramics to bring my abstract, emotional language into physical space. This would allow me to take creative risks and create more immersive, impactful pieces.
