I love creating art because it lets me express what I cannot say, process emotions, and connect with people through visual work.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love graphic design, but I am also really drawn to photography and painting. I like switching between them depending on how I am feeling. Design lets me build structure, photography helps me capture real moments, and painting feels more emotional and free. I like blending all of that into my creative work.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in everyday things. Music, random conversations, street signs, social media, even mistakes in my own work. As a design student, I pay attention to how things look and feel in real life, not just online. A lot of my ideas come from emotions or moments I cannot fully explain yet, and I try to turn that into something visual.
What would you do with $25,000?I think $25,000 would give me something rare as a design student. Time and freedom to figure out my voice. I would use it to support myself so I am not constantly stressed, invest in better tools and printing my work, and build a portfolio I am proud of. I would also help other students access creative resources. I would not spend it fast. I would use it to build skills, confidence, and something that actually lasts.
