I love using watercolor, building my anime style and creating my own characters as well as drawing my favorite characters. I love to try new mediums and DIY’s as well- from creating iron-on vinyl patterns to painting murals in my house. I love to experiment, but watercolor and traditional mediums are my happy place.
Where do you find inspiration?The obvious answer is anime and videos games- but true inspiration is everywhere. Certain colors, landscapes, clothes, textures and my family all provide me inspiration.
What would you do with $25,000?It would mean time and space. I just became a first time mother and this money would give me the space to create again- literally the space! I had to give up my studio room to my new daughter and shove all my artwork and supplies to the basement. It’s been impossible to get back into my art and it kills me to look at my incomplete watercolor canvas hiding away.
