I use nature to tell a story and create a new world in every piece to get lost in. It is escape where everything has new meaning
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love to make shadow boxes. I like to build little worlds that feel whimsical, eerie, and have storytelling throughout it. To make it feel like you’re peeking into something that exists just beyond our reality.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in everyday objects, memories, and the feeling of nostalgia. I’m really drawn to things that feel magical, mysterious, or a little weird. I love turning those feelings into something real, into something you want to step into.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest the $25,000 into my art business! Better materials, more inventory, and expanding in every aspect. I’d love to create more accessible pieces so more people can connect with my work! As someone living with chronic health conditions, it would also give me the stability to keep creating even on difficult days
