I create art to capture one-of-a-kind moments and sometimes, my dogs help me bring real emotion, authenticity, and meaning into the images.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love creating unique photos and turning them into art. I used to really enjoy writing and painting too, but I haven’t painted since high school—something I’d love to get back into someday.
Where do you find inspiration?Nature has always been a huge source of inspiration for me—it’s the ultimate artist. But right now, my biggest inspiration comes from dogs. They’re so pure and honest, wearing every emotion openly in their faces and movements. I have a deep soft spot for German Shepherds, especially my “soul dog,” Tina. The images I’ve created with her say so much about our bond. The trust she gives me is something not everyone gets to experience, and I don’t take that for granted for a second.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest it into expanding my photography gear so I can create higher-end, more unique, and meaningful work. I want to capture moments that people can truly connect with and feel—because sometimes a photograph can speak in ways words simply can’t.
