Art allows me to express myself where words cannot. It is my escape and therapy. The release of emotions and carries metaphoric symbolism.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love creating intuitive, free-flowing art where I let the pen lead the way. I enjoy drawing without overthinking, allowing shapes, faces, and symbols to reveal themselves naturally. Those pieces often feel the most honest and alive, as if they emerge from somewhere deeper than thought.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from life experiences. Sometimes they are clear in my mind what I'd like the finished work to be, and sometimes I just need to express an emotion and it's unclear. The piece may not make sense to anyone else.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to take some weight off of working so hard. I'd spend more time writing and creating the things I am passionate about.
