I enjoy creating art because it feels like escape, emergence, release and peace, throughout the entire process. Art is sanctuary.

I like so many art forms. Some of the first, that I made marketable, were macramé art and all kinds of candles. Although, I really enjoy repurposing found objects or artistic items into a differently thought-out art piece. I also enjoy nature and wildlife photography. I'm an avid traveler too, so distant or historic places are very intriguing to me, and also photo worthy. Another art form, not often mentioned in studios, is the culinary arts. That has been a favorite since I was very young.
Where do you find inspiration?Out in the wild. The mountains, forests, oceans, wetlands, back roads and agricultural fields bring so much peace and room for creative thought and expression. Although, I also enjoy creating at home.
What would you do with $25,000?I would divide and donate $5,000.00 to aspiring young artists, or culinarians to continue their creative academic pursuits. The remaining I would tuck away, to be used later for a hideaway home with lovely box gardens and safe habitat for wild animal visitors.
