I am watercolorist, furniture maker, and costume maker. I want to furnish a childrens hospital with mini furniture for kids and adults.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Furniture, costumes, watercolor. I like to make things with my hands. I am excellent at everything I do. I don't have passion to create unless I am comfortable financially. So I just currently help my entire family survive. 25,000 would be about 12,500 after taxes if lucky. This could be an award I could use to spend converting my garage into a workshop. But I would like to take a 5 year break from surviving and start my business back up. And start with a children's hospital.
Where do you find inspiration? In creating something that brings happiness and fun to the world. When kids and adults sit in my mini living room, it is the parents visiting their world. They relax and are filled with joy. They open up. Adults can join in the fun since the arm can support an adult standing on it. It doesn't tip backwards even with adult stands on top of back.
What would you do with $25,000?I would spend the 12,500 after taxes to convert my garage into a workshop.....Shark tank made me fill out 24 pages of contracts and provide a video when I first began. I went on to have 7000 sq ft stores. Life issues caused me to end businesses. Had top 25 Etsy store for volume in the nation and was ranked top 10 in country for cosplay costumes nitch when I began costume making. Fun Size Furniture, Fun Furrys, (on Facebook) for photos. Funun Ltd. (Fun Unlimited) - s corp name in the end.
