Because it has saved my life, and helps heal someone else's; it represented a person's joy; it mended a friendship. Nobody is excluded

Surrealism on canvas allows me to magically create a metaphorical universe in which you can place yourself. A universe that you're allowed to question and dissect, and even accept or not. Realism is the ability to copy life, while Surrealism allows us to pull life apart and make something different while also maintaining something familiar about it.
Where do you find inspiration? My grandmother told her best friend before she died that she hoped someone sees my art and they love it like she does. I find inspiration in everything she left behind. Then I add other ingredients to give the mundane an attitude that says "no, I’m not just a window to the outside but a window to another world and it is calling to us to explore"
What would you do with $25,000?I would pay to create an art therapy workshop that brings creativity and healing mixed with vulnerability and truth for yourself with NO comparison. Being honest about your color choices and subject. People in my community can’t afford therapy so I invite them to see what being vulnerable can do and how it will open a pathway to heal from the inside out to that canvas. would first invest in some basics that I need to advance my art-making, such as a new easel. I would also invest in a used car
