I create art because I love to see the beauty in all things. Good or bad. It’s my outlet when the world gets chaotic
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
“I create portraits that explore identity, beauty, and expression in both humans and animals. I’m inspired by the uniqueness in every face and form, and I use a range of styles and mediums to interpret that individuality. My goal is to create work that feels alive—capturing not just appearance, but presence.”
Where do you find inspiration?“I find inspiration in everyday life, especially through my experiences on the farm and in teaching martial arts. Being surrounded by animals and people with unique strengths and personalities fuels my passion for capturing the beauty and individuality of all living beings.”
What would you do with $25,000?If selected, I would invest the $25,000 into high-quality materials and tools to elevate my work. I would develop a cohesive body of art for exhibition, explore new techniques, and expand my reach through galleries and online platforms. I would also dedicate part of my funding to create a small art studio for my mother-an artist and cancer survivor-giving her a space she has always dreamed of. This support would help me grow creatively while also giving back in a meaningful way.
