I'm a breast cancer survivor. I bead to keep my mind off of being in pain. I donate to skate parks here in Montana. Helping brings me joy.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I like to beadwork. I like to create keepsakes for the graduates in my family. I like supporting skateparks for the youth. I also donate to Girls on Shred to empower girls. Hats, regalia and medallions is what I love doing.
Where do you find inspiration? In my own culture. I like doing the drawing of what I want to create. I am inspired by ledger art. It's using what you have to draw on then I bead. To be proud of where I came from.
What would you do with $25,000?I would love to give it to the Zootown Arts Community Center. I would love to support all of the arts, drawing, painting, dance and the music school.
