I like to do portraits in watercolor. If I get the subject's eyes, I know I've got it! The eyes tell their story. I connect with their soul through their eyes and my paintbrush.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration comes from my feelings, when I see a face. I try to connect with the subject by their eyes' story. I am a retired special education teacher. I've worked with many students of varying disabilities but my favorite is autism. They see and feel the world differently. Why should I force them to become a little robot like the rest? I would much rather go into their world to reach them. I'm like a detective. Same goes for painting. I try to feel their story and put it on canvas
What would you do with $25,000?I would be so excited. Teachers don't make loads of money. I had to retire before I worked in a full pension due to knee injuries. As a result, I don't receive a full pension. I drive a car with many miles on it. Things are beginning to fall apart. I could use some of the money for a down payment. I would also like to help my only grandchild with her schooling. She is studying to be a radiologist. Then, pay a couple of bills and buy paint supplies!!!!!!
