I believe art has the power to change minds. Not an easy thing to do in this world. And its a privilege to fight the good fight.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I like to make art that helps people question what's present to them as fact. I believe people take too much at face value and it is important to question everything even our most "established" beliefs.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from my everyday life. The music I listen to, the people I meet, the ideas that are forced upon me. Everything we take for granted is usually worth questioning. The more I question the more I find inspiration.
What would you do with $25,000?I would take about 10-15 thousand to make sure my family can be comfortable for a few years and the rest would be systematically used to help the most people I possibly can. I believe in helping is many people as I can and would willing give away as much as I can as long as it can be used to help people. I don't need much in this world to be happy. Anything I can do to make the lives of others better is the easy choice for me.
