Art is my best and clearest form of communication. It is a method to absorb, study and document the world around me.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Art that transcends a moment without preconceived notions or intentions. Art with raw and pure qualities connected to guttural instincts, energy, synapses and connections; often perfectly imperfect.
Where do you find inspiration?People, nature, music, water and sunsets are all deeply inspiring to me; more specifically the energy emitted from and contained within those items. The majority of my work begins when a song starts and ends when the song ends. I have painted and drawn hundreds of songs some many times over and they all look and feel different; influenced by the time of day, location, temperature and the multiplicity of other conditions under which they were created.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the money to set up a website dedicated to making art with positive energy, to help people with mental illness, depression, and schizophrenia find inspiration to overcome those challenges.
