I create to shape how a space feels—art is the emotional layer people may not name, but always feel.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I create abstract, color-driven work that feels minimal but is highly constructed. Each piece is built through hundreds of custom color mixes—often 600 to 800—layered to create subtle shifts in tone and intensity. Influenced by my background in interior design, I approach scale and composition with spatial awareness, creating work that quietly alters how a space is experienced.
Where do you find inspiration?I’m inspired by the way color and space shape emotion. I’m constantly observing how scale, composition, and subtle tonal shifts influence perception. I’m drawn to contrast—precision and fluidity, control and release—and the tension between them. Much of my work explores how something can feel both minimal and complex at once.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to expand the scale and ambition of my work—creating larger pieces that engage more directly with architectural space. It would allow me to explore new materials, refine my studio practice, and continue developing work that sits between art and environment. I would also invest in professional documentation to position the work within a broader gallery context.
