I love creating art because it gives language to things people often don’t have words for—especially pain, healing, and transformation.

My favorite is layered, symbolic art that tells stories beyond what’s seen. My work often features women, nature, and spiritual elements to reflect transformation, resilience, and healing. I’m drawn to pieces that feel like a mirror—where someone can see their own journey, strength, or growth. My art is both visual and emotional, inviting reflection and connection. Each piece holds intention and speaks to the complexity of lived experience and becoming.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in lived experience—my own and my community’s. I’m moved by resilience, healing, and the quiet moments when people reclaim their voice. Nature and its cycles of growth and transformation also guide me, along with my spiritual connection and intuition. I’m especially inspired by untold stories and overlooked experiences, which push me to create work that brings visibility, truth, and deeper connection.
What would you do with $25,000?I would expand access to healing-centered art by offering free workshops, providing materials, and creating safe spaces for expression. I’d support local artists through stipends and collaborate on community-based projects. I would also develop pop-up exhibits that center real stories and build connection. This funding would help me grow sustainable, trauma-informed art spaces rooted in healing, creativity, and community impact.
