I create bold, expressive acrylic paintings on canvas that transform lived experiences into raw, visual stories. Through layered color and movement, I channel vulnerability, resilience, and triumph, inviting viewers to feel seen, reflect on their own journeys, and connect through shared emotion and healing.
Where do you find inspiration?My inspiration comes from lived experience, especially seasons of profound loss and challenge. I create from the space where pain meets growth, transforming hardship into visual stories of resilience. My work reflects the belief that even in life’s darkest moments, we can create meaning, connection, and hope.
What would you do with $25,000?I would expand my initiative, Artistic Constellations, into a program offering safe creative spaces for individuals facing hardship and crisis. In 2018, I brought together 9 emerging artists, one returned to school & now pursues art full-time, reshaping how I understand lasting impact. While rebuilding my life, art became my lifeline, now reflected in my new series on healing & resilience. With 25k I would establish & scale this program, expand access to healing through art, & share my story.
