I love to mimic real life emotions, good or bad. As a species, we are meant to create, not just consume. To use every talent we are given.

I like to create art that comes out of nowhere. I love big, bright canvas’. High contrast pieces with hard lines and blurred backdrops. Landscapes and fictional women in emotional scenarios portrayed in thick chunky paint, that’s where I thrive. I love to feel the painting as much as view it. The chunkier, unexpected and messier, while also being precise, that’s the art I love to create.
Where do you find inspiration?Visions that pop in my head either with no reason at all or mused by something in my line of view. A childhood memory or a bad day will make me run to the nearest canvas and start laying down paint. Any painting where my tears have thinned the paint, will always turn out better than a commission. It feels cliche to say that painting is my outlet. I’m saying it anyway. Art is absolutely my outlet. My life, my emotions, my aspirations, its all poured into the paint on my canvas.
What would you do with $25,000?To be completely honest, I don’t know. Art is never promised. My musings may clash with the mindset of others, so I’m always at a crossroads where I have to tame down a painting in order to sell it or potentially beef it up to sell. This would give me a cushion to create what I feel to be great art and then just see what happens. I create with very little overhead. I recycle canvases, frames, anything that I can. It would be nice to invest in myself for once to see where this could go.
