I love to create work that focuses on time, moment and memories. I like to represent time with color, memories with child like characters and moments with shapes and geometry.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from where I live, Northern Maine. Watching the landscape drastically change form and color each year is very symbolic of how our lives change. I also draw a lot of inspiration from my childhood memories and dreams.
What would you do with $25,000?I would rebuild and update my website where I teach people how to paint online. I’d like to incorporate lessons for children and for people who can’t afford one on one lessons. I’ve been able to teach a lot of people over the years and would love to be able to expand my website to reach even more people.
