I wish people would stop paying so much attention to themselves. Art has convinced me to watch the Earth and Moon and Stars and be humbled.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I make paintings with brushes using paints on stretched canvas. Sometimes I use an airbrush. I also draw on paper. I utilize photos, which I take myself or from textbooks. Sometimes I paint from real life.
Where do you find inspiration?I am inspired by nature: the ocean, the land, the sky and infinite space. Music as well. I am not interested in painting people or their stuff, although sometimes I feel the need to moderately include such things to make a point. I also find inspiration in words and include them to further that point. I have no interest in depicting myself.
What would you do with $25,000?Well, first I would have to pay taxes on it, right? Then I would give what remains to my children, as young people today have an inordinate burden to overpay for education and find a job.
