I love to create artworks which make individuals smile. On a cruise, I painted portraits of some staff and gave them to the people. Smiles!

I love to create and use many art mediums however watercolor tends to be my favorite. I love how watercolors are like life. You can plan out your day and often something unexpected happens. Watercolors are frequently unpredictable yet the results are amazing like life. I love to paint lighthouses as I find them inspiring beacons of safety and hope. I believe that the act of creating lighthouse art also advocates for their protection. People’s faces are another favorite subject of mine.
Where do you find inspiration? As an artist, I find inspiration in the every day extraordinary moments, such as the sun light on my windowsill, the glimmer on ocean waves and the sadness within a stranger’s eyes. Each season provides new inspiration as does new challenges and opportunities in life. Children and young people are continual inspiration. To watch a child in the process of painting is inspiring to me!
What would you do with $25,000?Honestly, I would probably use it towards my living expenses and to take time to create more artwork. The money would be much appreciated!
