Through bold use of color, rich textures, and layered compositions, I present faces in a way that challenges tradition and invites deeper interpretation. My work reflects years of personal growth—shaped by discipline, resilience, and an energetic, curious spirit.
Where do you find inspiration?A significant source of inspiration in my journey has been my uncle, Woodie Long. As a celebrated folk artist, his expressive style and encouragement gave me the confidence to discover and embrace my own artistic voice. Equally influential has been my connection to the ocean. Living near it and spending countless hours immersed in its presence has profoundly shaped my perspective. As a lover of nature, the ocean has taught me to flow, to explore without limits, and to create without judgment.
